Natural Cure - Celery Powder
Celery Powder is now commonly being used for giving sausages and meats a cured appearance and taste without the use of synthetic sodium nitrite/nitrate.

This is AC Leggs' version

Consists of :
   Celery Powder
   Sea Salt
   Silicon Dioxide added to prevent caking

Celery Powder, while containing naturally occuring nitrites and nitrates, does not give the same protection as Cure #1 and Cure #2. There is no standardized, USDA recommended curing time for specific amounts of Celery Powder for consistent curing action so products using vegetable based nitrites & nitrates, such as Celery Juice Powder, must be cooked prior to consumption. .

Each packet (net wt. 3 oz.) can be used for 100 lbs. of ground meat
