Bell Scraper

Use this scraper to scrape the hair off the hide after it has been scalded. Do this by grasping the scraper with both hands, exerting plenty of pressure, tilt on the far edge and pull toward you. Scrape the legs and head first thing after the scald as they are the hardest to clean. Then scrape the body from fore flanks to the tail. Smooth wrinkles by stretching the skin or moving the legs.
