The hardy pioneers demanded hearty food, and plenty of it. For breakfast, their bacon was cut thicker and made from lean portions of the hog, not the fat back. Don't settle for store bought bacon.

Use this product with a Boston Butt to make bacon or with a pork loin to make Canadian Bacon. Then slice it thick or thin.
